How to Play

Find the words

Drag through neighboring letters — including diagonals — to spell words. Each letter can be used once in a word. Words need at least three letters.

On a phone or mouse

Press a letter, keep your finger or mouse down, and slide to connected tiles. Let go to submit. If a path does not count, the board tells you why — no pop-up to dismiss.

Keyboard

Tab to the board, then use the arrow keys to move between letters. Press Enter or Space to start a word, Enter again on a neighboring letter to add it, and Enter on the last letter to submit. Backspace removes the last letter. Escape clears the selection. You can also tap letters one by one without dragging.

Daily puzzle

A new puzzle arrives each day at midnight Eastern Time. Your first finish of the target list is the score that counts. Bonus words after that still earn gems and XP, but they do not replace your Daily rank. You can pick up an unfinished game. Extra boards after that are practice. Guest scores stay on your device; create an account if you want to appear on the public leaderboard.

Other modes

Endless has no timer. Guests get three free hints per board; signed-in players spend gems. Rush starts a short clock and adds time for every real word. Themes change the artwork, tiles, controls, and atmosphere of the game. These modes live in the Wordjio Android app. They are for fun and are not part of the Daily leaderboard.
